TaxEagle for service exporters — EDF without the branch visit.
Automates RBI 2026 service-export compliance for freelancers under ₹10L/mo. WhatsApp-first capture, AI agents parse and match, CA signs only exceptions — monthly Annex 2B filed, Drive-backed, EDPMS-polled.
- WhatsApp capture, no bank portal visits
- AI extracts UTR, SAC, FX with lineage
- Auto-matches platform fees up to 21%
- Reg 4 fast-track, CA 24h recall window
- Monthly EDF, Drive backup, EDPMS polling
TaxEagle is not a substitute for an Authorised Dealer. It prepares the exporter’s declaration and the monthly EDF pack the AD bank still lodges. The product’s job is to make the small-value service exporter’s 30-day clock boring — and to keep capital-account money off that form.

RBI regulatory considerations
How TaxEagle maps to the October 2026 foreign-exchange export rules, data-liability posture, and bank reporting clocks.
≤ ₹10 lakh / month current-account service remittances
Annex 2B filed within 30 days of month-end
Inward credit within 15 months of invoice (FEMA)
Traditional process vs TaxEagle
A branch visit or portal request for every foreign credit. ₹500–₹1,500 per FIRC, weeks of delay, and a real risk of missing the 30-day EDF window.
Pairs invoices with bank UTRs, self-declares genuineness under the small-value exemption, and submits one consolidated monthly Annex 2B. High-value and capital items still go to a CA.
Risk safeguards
- Zero compliance-data liability
EDFs and signed declarations are pushed to the user’s personal Google Drive. TaxEagle does not keep a central store of tax artefacts.
- 15-month realisation guard
Invoices older than 14 months without a matching inward credit raise an alert before FEMA default.
- Current vs capital isolation
Equity, loan, and property proceeds cannot be labelled as service income. The gateway hard-stops those onto the CA path.
- Digital signature on HITL
CA reviews are tamper-evident (Zoho Sign / DSC). Auto-path items carry a 24-hour CA recall window.
Regulation 4 decision matrix
| Condition | Pass | Fail | Product behaviour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly aggregate ≤ ₹10 lakh | Self-declaration allowed | Full FIRC / CA path | Uses net realised INR + month-to-date cum. Boundary at exactly ₹10L is an open product question. |
| Valid service export (current account) | SAC present, software/design/content | Equity, loan, property, goods | Misclassification is the highest FEMA risk. CA can set a future-allow only for confirmed service patterns. |
| Realisation age < 15 months | Credit within 456 days of invoice | Aging invoice, no inward | Alert at 14 months. Do not auto-declare a stale invoice just to hit the EDF deadline. |
| Match confidence & fee band | UTR linked, fee ≤ 21% | Orphan credit, fee > 21%, merged invoices | L1 auto-learns common platform cuts. L2 ops handles the rest before the gateway sees the row. |

Engineering architecture
Code modules, agents vs deterministic, data stores, and UI. Suggested grouping — tweak the boundaries as needed.
Acquisition & file handling is deterministic (parse, validate, dedupe). Extraction / Matching / Compliance are agent-led with explicit HITL gates. Filer is deterministic again (PDF/XML + Drive + poll) with a feedback edge to Matching for corrections.
- Merge “FIRC Extractor” into Bank Reader if narratives already carry FIRC data
- Move duplicate detection from Extractor to Matching (needs cross-invoice view)
- Split Compliance Agent into rules/ (deterministic Reg 4) + agent/ (SAC reasoning)
